Cookie Policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how MailMail UK uses cookies and similar technologies on mailmail.uk. Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser.
Strictly necessary cookies
- mailmail_session: remembers the temporary addresses that belong to your browser. Expires after 30 days.
- XSRF-TOKEN: protects the site's forms against cross-site request forgery. Expires after 30 days.
The mailbox cannot work without these cookies, so they cannot be switched off on our side.
Browser storage
- darkmode: remembers whether you prefer the dark or the light theme.
- cookie: remembers that you closed the cookie notice.
These values stay in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us.
Advertising cookies
When ads are shown, Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies, such as __gads, __gpi and IDE, to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad and measure performance. If you consent, or where consent is not required, these cookies may also be used to personalise ads. Google explains how it uses cookies in its cookie policy.
Managing cookies
- Change or withdraw your advertising consent through the consent message on the site, where one is shown.
- Turn off personalised ads in Google's Ads Settings.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the mailbox will not work.
