Free temp mail in one click

MailMail UK gives you a disposable email address whenever you need one. Use it for sign-ups, confirmation codes and downloads, and keep your real inbox free of spam. No account, no password and no personal details.

How it works

  1. Get an address. Press Random for an instant address, or type a username, choose a domain and press Create.
  2. Read what arrives. Your inbox opens straight away and checks for new mail every 20 seconds, or at once when you press Refresh. Messages open right there, attachments included.
  3. Walk away. Messages are deleted automatically a day after they arrive, so there is nothing to clean up.

Pick your own address

Want a name you can remember? Type a username of 3 to 15 letters or numbers in the panel, choose one of 20 domains and press Create. For an address ending in .uk, pick mailmail.uk or getemails.uk. You can create up to five addresses a day and switch between them from the address menu in your inbox.

What temp mail is good for

  • Newsletters, coupons and free downloads you only need once
  • Trying an app or website before you trust it with your real address
  • Wi-Fi hotspots, forum sign-ups and one-time verification codes
  • Testing sign-up and email flows when you build websites

When to use your real address instead

A temporary inbox is not private. Anyone who knows the address can open it, and anyone can create the same address later. Don't use MailMail for banking, health or government services, work accounts, or any account you want to keep: once the messages are gone, you can't recover the password. MailMail receives email but cannot send it.

Frequently asked questions

Is MailMail free?

Yes. MailMail is free and paid for by advertising. You don't need an account to use it.

How long are messages kept?

Messages are deleted automatically one day after they arrive. Deletion runs once a day, so a message can occasionally stay for up to 48 hours. Deleted messages can't be recovered.

Can I send email from my temporary address?

No. MailMail addresses only receive email, which stops the service from being used to send spam.

Why did a website reject my address?

Some websites block known disposable email domains. Create a new address on a different domain and try again. If a site keeps refusing temporary addresses, it probably expects an inbox you will keep, and your real address is the better choice.

Can I open the same address again later?

Yes. Type the same username, choose the same domain and press Create. Messages that haven't been deleted yet will still be there. Anyone else who knows the address can do the same, so treat it as public.

Do you know who I am?

No. We never ask for your name, phone number or real email address. To stop abuse, we keep each address with the IP address that created it for seven days. Our Privacy Policy lists everything we store.
